The Nativity
by Jaume Ferrer the Younger
Painted around 1457, The Nativity places Mary, Joseph, attendants, and angels around the Christ Child beneath a gold-ornamented shelter. The panel's brilliant color and patterned surface preserve the devotional intensity of fifteenth-century Catalonia. Giclee printed to order on enhanced matte art paper.
